I would have never have guessed, but they are cookie sheets covered with fabric! How great of an idea is that? (And I love the greek key ribbon bookmark peeking out from that book.)
You can watch the how-to video on Martha Stewart's website. It's super simple: just use spray adhesive to cover the tray in fabric and then put a piece of felt on the bottom. She also had a piece of acrylic cut to size to set in the tray, but depending on what you planned to put on it, you could skip that step.
I have several baking sheets that have seen better days in the kitchen, but would look fabulous covered in fabric!
I never would have guessed that! What a clever idea!
ReplyDeleteKind of genius!!!
ReplyDeleteMy coffee tables needs a lil somthin' somethin' actually. =)
Hmm, read the instructions..surely can't be that easy, but definitely worth a try! Would be great for gifts, too

ReplyDeleteShut the front door!!! I just threw out a nasty cookie sheet. Ok . . so so cute. And I am looking for a light weight one to put on our ottoman so if a toddler meets it, we won't be in the ER again. GENIUS. Doing this soon. Thanks, girl!

ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME! So smart. It's going into my project file.
ReplyDeleteI made one! You can read about my adventure on my blog! I really recommend skipping the acrylic. I've already spilled diet coke on the fabric and it comes out with spot shot!:)
