I'm pretty sure ALL of the wood floors in your post are from places in Paris! I swear, every beautiful old place there has the same floors. Herringbone is my favorite pattern, it's more timeless than chevron and so beautiful!

Love. Having installed hardwoods in our upstairs ourselves, I can only imagine how labor intensive that is!!
