Update: Cocoa & Hearts Painting.

Remember how I mentioned we got a fabulous painting from Cocoa & Hearts here?  We hung it in our living room behind the couch.  In case you're curious, click here to see what we had hanging on the wall before the painting.

Here's the new and improved living room wall . . .

(How sweet is Zoey posing for the picture?)

I love it against the darker wall color.  It really just shines in there.  I may have to turn the couch around so I can sit and stare at the painting instead of facing the TV!

The colors and movement of the painting are simply stunning. I love the gold streaks in it that shimmer.  When I received it in the mail, that was the first thing I noticed.

It's definitely my favorite part of the room now.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm glad to be back home, although there aren't any cookies on my nightstand here!

  2. No cookies?! Tell that husband of yours to get baking! Looks great. I think art is such a great investment, whether or not the artist ever "becomes" anyone, it gives you such great feelings. That is such a happy painting and it really pops against the dark wall. Good placement.

  3. It looks great in your space. Jen is certainly a great artist and everything she does she puts her heart into it.

  9. The paintings she does are fabulous but I don't think the size of that one is best for that wall. It's a little small in proportion to the rest of the room.
