I need some advice on which chandelier to go with in the dining room. I think part of my problem is that I am not used to the pearson chandelier, so it still looks different/off to me. What do you think?
Here is the chandelier we originally purchased for the dining room:
Here is the new pearson chandelier:
I know I will need to get rid of the lamps on the buffet because it looks to "shady" with the 3 big drum shades in that room. And that is totally fine, I think the lamps will look perfect in our bedroom (with their original white shades). Maybe something like this below without the big lamps. Sorry for the poor lighting (clicking on the picture makes it a little easier to see).
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I love the new chandelier! I think it looks great! As far as the glass lamp on the buffet, I think it may be too short. Typically, buffet lamps are tall and thin. I love that glass lamp - just think it may be too short. Also, using the existing lamps in your bedroom is a great idea - but, what do you think about incorporating the color of the lampshades in your bedroom? That would coordinate great with the white and grey. For what it's worth - Mom
ReplyDeleteI also love the new chandelier - especially with the new chairs. The room looks lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI really love the pearson chandelier! It looks SO good with your new chairs, and I just love it because it's still traditional but more modern than your old chanedlier. I agree with mom - I would still do lamp(s) on the buffet but maybe taller, thin ones. I'm a fan of lots of lamps, though. :)
