It all started back in October when we were in San Francisco and I came across the Yarbie Bangle Boutique. They have gorgeous bangles wrapped in cashmere, silk, tweed, etc.
I ended up getting this variety, but plan to add some additional ones to my Christmas list.
Since then, I have been seeing all kinds of yarn-wrapped things that I am loving. Like this wreath from take heart (found via Nuestra Vida Dulce).

OOOH! Thank you for the idea! I'm working on my gallery wall right now, and I have a very plain Jane letter C I'm putting up, and I was contemplating gluing some fabric to it, but I think there will be some yarn on it now. (I also screwed up painting one of the frames...maybe I can save it with yarn :-)
I share the same obsession :) I covered some syrofoam balls with pretty moss green yarn the other day. I have no idea what I will do with them now though!

you know I have an obsession as well! I have a plain black bangle {like the ones you showed}.So getting wrapped in yarn this week! :)
I fell in love with those wreaths to. I made one over the weekend and will post it tomorrow. I want to keep making them
just an update, wrapping letters with yarn is way harder than it looks.
Those frames and those wreaths are amazing!!!! I love this idea!

wow, so many great ideas..these are so fun! hobby lobby is addictive too, i could stay in there for days.
